In this video, I'm gonna go through the unboxing of the Welch Allen Harvey DLX stethoscope.

Hey, hey. What's up, guys? Nurse Jenny here.

In this video, I'm gonna show you a detailed unboxing of the Welch Allen Harvey DLX stethoscope.

And if you, like me, are into all things nursing, consider subscribing and if you found this video at all helpful, please give it a thumbs up.

Let's get into the video.

The box looks like this, and it's got a picture at the front of the actual Harvey DLX stethoscope, however the stethoscope that you buy doesn't come with this attachment.

And I'll show you that when I open the box.

This side of the box has got Welch Allen stethoscopes, the address of the company.

This has just got the barcode and Welch Allen stethoscopes, hear the difference.

Then, it just says Welch Allen, and on the back, there's nothing.

Okay. So, opening the box, opens to the side.

You get a Welch Allen Harvey heart sound sampler.

So it's actually a CD that you can listen to, somehow, with your discman or walkman, whatever.

It comes with a user manual and it's got six different languages, and this picture is actually a picture of the triple head stethoscope, so this is a dual head.

Apparently, there is a triple head, a well.

Then, you get a little extra name tag.

You get a little metal bit that you can engrave, if you want to.

So no one steals your stethoscope.

Just a little instruction on how to put it on.

All right, and then we've got the stethoscope that looks like that.

Okay, so see this bit?

On the front of the box, it's got a pediatric chest piece, but this is not a pediatric chest piece.

It just looks like that, and you don't get one that you can screw on.

This does screw off, but you don't get that extra bit to screw it on.

Okay. So the chest piece is quite different from other chest pieces.

It's got this little wing side here and it is turnable.

And the middle bit has got ... It's like a cube in the middle which is quite solid and quite heavy, and the diaphragms, they all screw off like that, and like that.

And you've got the A-frame. It is dual lumen.

This bit here is so that you can make it tighter or make it more loose.

In the box, it comes just like that, so the binaurals are not angled at all to your ears, so you have to do that yourself.

So you have to angle it to your ... Oops.

Angle it to your liking like that, so it'll sit nice in your ears.

So, guys, if all this looks a little bit confusing to you, don't worry.

I'm going to do a detailed view of this stethoscope where I'll take it to work, I'll try it out, and I'll give you all of the pros and cons of the stethoscope.

And also, remember, all these stethoscopes that I have in my videos, I give away.

So if you want the chance to win one, you can find the link in the show notes for that.

So, thank you for watching my video. I'll see you on the next one and remember, listen with your heart.
