Have you ever thought about how you're going to take off the diaphragm and non-chill rim of your Littman Lightweight II S.E. stethoscope?
Well, if you have, you're in luck.
In this video, I'm going to show you how to take off the diaphragm and the non-chill rim of the Littman Lightweight II S.E., and then I'm going to show you how to put them back on.
The Littmann Lightweight II S.E. comes with non-chill rim adult and pediatric diaphragms. It's the lightest stethoscope I've reviewed so far, true to its name.
If you want to learn more about this stethoscope I made a detailed review about it here:

It's really actually easy to remove the diaphragm of the stethoscope. You would just need to find the edge of the non-chill rim and simply put your fingers on the plastic rim and gently pull upwards.
It is quite easy to take it off as the plastic is really soft. It is one of the easiest ones that I've tried.
Don't worry if the diaphragm comes off the plastic border, you can easily put it back into place by just putting it into the groove of the rim, work your way around, and it will snap back into place.
To put the diaphragm back into the chestpiece, you should just simply put the diaphragm into the groove of the chestpiece, and then work your fingers all the way around, and then make sure it is snag and fits properly. You'll hear it snap into place, and that's it!
Taking off the non-chill rim is super easy as well. You simply take your nails on the non-chill rim, and lift it slightly, and pull it off. It'll come off really easily.
To put it back on, you just put it back on top of the chestpiece, work your fingers all the way around and it will snap back into place.

So to summarize, the diaphragm and the non-chill rim are really easy to take on and off.
The non-chill rim comes off maybe a little bit too easy, but in saying that, I have used the stethoscope at work for a long time, and the non-chill rim has never just fallen off or anything like that, so that's good.
