Today, let me introduce you to the newest member of the Bjorn Hall family -- the Bjorn Hall Matte Black Stethoscope. This stethoscope has a black matte tubing, a smooth clinical grade stainless-steel black diaphragm, and a black aluminum binaurals.
Björn Hall Black Matte Stethoscope Features
1. The Björn Hall Black Matte Stethoscope is lightweight.
At only 5.1oz or 146g it is the lightest stethoscope in the market. It is even lighter compared to the 5.6oz or 160g of the Littmann Classic III. This is perfect for nurses like me who like to carry their stethoscope around their neck. It’s super lightweight, you wouldn’t even feel it’s there.
2. The Björn Hall Black Matte Stethoscope has crisp & clear acoustics.
Each stethoscope has a double-sided chestpiece that can be used for adult and pediatric assessments. Having tight-sealed diaphragms that prevent the escape of sound, the high and low-pitched sounds are clearly auditory, loud, and crisp.
3. Björn Hall Black Matte Stethoscope has soft & comfortable eartips.
The soft eartips are made from high-quality silicone that won’t crumble or split. It has an acoustically-sealed ear canal fit that allows for better hearing, canceling most outside noises during use.
4. The Björn Hall Black Matte Stethoscope is ergonomically-designed to naturally complement the anatomy of the ear canal.
The Björn Hall Black Matte Stethoscope’s binaurals are movable to custom fit the wearer. It can be adjusted according to the angle of your ear canal. It has a good spring tension so you can pull them apart to loosen or push them together to tighten and they will retain their shape.
5. The Björn Hall Black Matte Stethoscope has a comfortable length.
It is 29in or 75cm long, perfect length to do assessments without straining your back from bending too much and it’s not too long to be touching your arms or the patient’s clothes or linen.
6. The Björn Hall Black Matte Stethoscope has a soft & smooth tubing.
This is personally, one of my pet peeves. I don’t like the feel of sticky tubing around my neck. The Björn Hall Black Matte Stethoscope feels smooth and soft on the skin so it won’t stick on you and won’t snag your small hairs.
7. The Björn Hall Black Matte Stethoscope has plenty of spare parts & a cool spare kit.
Aside from the eartips attached to the stethoscope, there is an additional of three different sizes of eartips on the spare kit. Yes! Aside from that, there’s an extra adult diaphragm, extra pediatric diaphragm, and extra non-chill rim if you want to convert your pediatric side to an open-bell. And, there’s more, all of these are safely kept inside a classy mini-pouch that you can keep inside your locker, your bag, or at home.
