Welch Allyn Harvey DLX Cardiology Stethoscope Unboxing

For today’s blog, we’ll have a quick video while I go through the unboxing of the Welch Allen Harvey DLX Cardiology Stethoscope. We'll see what a brand new Welch Allen Harvey DLX Cardiology looks fresh from the box, and we'll get to see the unique details of the stethoscope.

Let’s begin!

This is the front of the box. It's got a picture at the front of the actual Harvey DLX stethoscope, however, the stethoscope that you buy doesn't come with the pediatric diaphragm attachment.

On the left side of the box, it has a written Welch Allen stethoscopes and the address of the company.

On the right side, it has the barcode and Welch Allen stethoscopes, hear the difference.

On the back, there's nothing written.

When you open the box, everything is laid on a plastic case. There is a CD included which is a Welch Allen Harvey heart sound sampler, it also comes with a user manual and it's got six different languages, and you get a little extra name tag and a small metal plate that you can engrave if you want to.

The Welch Allen Harvey DLX Cardiology Stethoscope comes with an adult diaphragm and an open bell. The pieces are a screw-on and off, but there are no extra adult or pediatric diaphragms in the spare kit. 

The chest piece has a little wing design and it is turnable. It has an A-Frame and a dual-lumen tubing.

The binaurals are on its default position so you have to adjust it according to your preferred angle, whichever is comfortable for you. I made a tutorial on How to Wear a Stethoscope Correctly: Björn Hall Stethoscope, it looks easy but believe me, most people get it wrong.
